Think & Tinker© is a Cairo-based creative agency providing brand identity, packaging design, and content production services for the beauty and personal care industry across Egypt, MENA, and Africa.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal and business information when you interact with us — whether through our website, Tally intake form, email, WhatsApp, or social media.
We take your privacy seriously. We collect only what we need, use it only for legitimate purposes, and never sell it to anyone.
02
Information We Collect
We collect two types of information:
Information you give us directly:
Contact information: Your name, company name, email address, phone number, and WhatsApp number when you fill in our intake form, contact us, or start a project.
Business information: Details about your company, products, target market, competitors, and brand goals — shared as part of our discovery and briefing process.
Project materials: Existing logos, packaging artwork, brand assets, product photos, and any other files you share with us to complete a project.
Payment information: Bank transfer references and invoicing details. We do not store credit card numbers or payment credentials.
Communications: Messages sent via email, WhatsApp, or any other channel, including feedback, approvals, and revision requests.
Information collected automatically:
Website usage data: Basic analytics such as page visits, time on site, and referral source — collected via Framer's built-in analytics. No personally identifiable information is captured automatically.
Intake form responses: Submitted through Tally.so, which has its own privacy policy governing form data.
03
How We Use Your Information
We use your information only for the following purposes:
Delivering our services: To scope, design, produce, and deliver brand identity, packaging, and content projects.
Project communication: To send proposals, briefs, deliverables, revision notes, and project updates.
Invoicing and payments: To issue invoices and process payment milestones.
Client support: To respond to questions, requests, and feedback during and after a project.
Portfolio and marketing: To showcase completed work on our website, Instagram, Behance, or in proposals — unless confidentiality has been agreed in writing.
Service improvement: To understand how clients find us and what they need, so we can improve how we communicate and deliver.
We do not use your information for automated profiling, targeted advertising on third-party platforms, or any purpose not listed above.
04
How We Store Your Information
Your information is stored in the following places:
Google Drive and Gmail: Project files, deliverables, and email communications. Google's privacy policy applies to data stored on their platform.
WhatsApp Business: Project communications and client contact details. Meta's privacy policy applies.
Tally.so: Intake form responses. Tally's privacy policy applies to form submissions.
Excel / Google Sheets: Our internal client database for project tracking and follow-up. This is not shared with third parties.
Canva: Design files and templates. Canva's privacy policy applies.
We take reasonable precautions to protect stored information, including access controls and secure file sharing. We do not store sensitive financial data such as card numbers or bank account credentials.
05
Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business information to any third party.
We may share limited information in the following circumstances only:
Within our team: Designers, content creators, and project managers at Think & Tinker© who need access to deliver your project. All team members are expected to maintain confidentiality.
Service providers: Third-party tools we use to deliver work (e.g. printers, platform tools) receive only the specific files or data necessary for the task — never your full client profile.
Legal requirements: If required to disclose information by law, court order, or governmental authority, we will comply and notify you where legally permitted to do so.
We never share client business strategies, product formulations, unreleased brand names, or any confidential project information with other clients, competitors, or third parties.
06
Portfolio and Case Studies
We may use completed project work — including final logos, packaging designs, brand guidelines, and content — in our portfolio, website, Instagram, Behance, and in proposals to prospective clients.
If you need your project kept confidential — for example, if you are launching a product that is not yet public — please notify us in writing before project commencement. We will honour confidentiality requests for the duration of the agreed period.
Confidentiality cannot be applied retroactively to work that has already been published or shared publicly by Think & Tinker©.
07
Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access: Request a summary of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction: Ask us to correct any inaccurate information we hold.
Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information after a project is completed and all legal and financial obligations have been met.
Opt out of marketing: Ask to be removed from any follow-up or outreach communications at any time.
Confidentiality: Request that project work not be used in our portfolio (must be requested before project completion).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at thinkandtinker.studio@gmail.com. We will respond within 10 business days.
08
Data Retention
We retain client information for the following periods:
Active project clients: For the duration of the project and for 2 years after final delivery, in case of support requests, disputes, or follow-on work.
Inactive leads and prospects: For up to 12 months from last contact, after which contact details are removed from our active database.
Financial records: Invoice and payment records are retained for 5 years in line with standard accounting requirements under Egyptian law.
You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time, subject to legal and financial record-keeping obligations.
09

Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for business clients and are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have received information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
